We’ve reported almost a month ago about Xiaomi’s new phone which we first called Redmi Note 5. However, as leaks are surfacing nowadays, we’re starting to get a glimpse of what’s in store for Xiaomi and their upcoming handset.
A Weibo user just dropped another render (that seems official, btw) which was purportedly called the Redmi 5 Plus. And as rumored, it will come with either a Snapdragon 625 / Snapdragon 630 system-on-chip (SoC) with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, as well as a dual-camera setup. Not to mention what they call “FullView” 18:9 aspect-ratio display, which we like to call “the aspect-ratio of 2017.”
The current leaked render seems matching with the one we’ve reported previously. Meanwhile, there’s no information yet about when it will be revealed or its pricing.
