He apologizes, again
“I should know better,” Kjellberg said on his latest video. “I can’t keep messing up like this.”
“You probably won’t believe this when I say this, but, whenever I go online and I hear other players use the same kind of language that I did, I always find it extremely immature and stupid”
Earlier this year, we have reported about PewDiePie losing his biggest sponsorships from Disney and YouTube due to an anti-Semitic video which was already taken down on YouTube.
This time, the most-subscribed YouTuber with ~57M subscribers finds himself on hot water again when he recently uttered the ‘N-word’ which was deemed as racial slur and most of us aren’t oblivious, too.
After the said livestream of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), hate comments came in, even taking the Campo Santo co-founder’s attention (publishers of Firewatch game which PewDiePie recently featured on his channel) and saying that a DMCA complaint is being filed to take action against him.

The tweet, sparked heated arguments if filing a DMCA complaint is the appropriate measure to use against PewDiePie. However, it seems that Vanaman is really determined to do something and he wants to show that he’s not really fond of PewDiePie, adding the following statements through replying on his series of tweets.
“There is a bit of leeway you have to have with the internet when [you] wake up every day and make video games. There’s also a breaking point.
“I am sick of this child getting more and more chances to make money off of what we make.”
“He’s worse than a closeted racist: he’s a propagator of despicable garbage that does real damage to the culture around this industry.”
“I’d urge other developers & will be reaching out to folks much larger than us to cut him off from the content that has made him a millionaire.”

The video has been taken down from YouTube, only after it already got 5.7 million views, which obviously angered people even more as that means that he might still get the income he earned from the video.
EDITOR’S OPINION
I actually watched that video, and by the end, he seemed to realize what we had done and apologized before the roll ends. Sometimes its the press who makes the story much worse than what really happened.
