Every year, Samsung is showcasing new display tech at CES, and this year’s no exception, too. The South Korean giant is updating its ‘The Wall’ TV lineup, as if, the last year’s 146-inch model isn’t yet massive enough.
The new 219-inch The Wall display would take commands from both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa – but the catch is you need to have a compatible smart speaker (such as Google Home or Amazon Echo) to connect it into. Of course, it also comes with Samsung’s Bixby built-in.
That said, users will be able to operate the TV’s basic functions like switching it on or off, changing the channel, volume level and also inputs, all through voice commands.
Samsung also unveiled a smaller MicroLED panel at 75-inches that supports 4K resolution, which seemed to be the most practical and affordable option for most homes.
To clarify things, Samsung has first unveiled its MicroLED display tech last year.
As of writing, no pricing details for these are revealed yet.
