STS DESPATCH – LG’s upcoming V35 smartphone is launching on June, as we reported previously, and now, it seems that the actual product is now lying around somewhere. Now, we have a glimpse of how the upcoming LG’s handset would look like.
The above photo, shared to us by Wireless Power Consortium’s page, was brought open to the public by widely-acknowledged tipster Evan Blass. According to its WPC listing, the LG V35, or V35 ThinQ (as others call it), will contain the model number LM-V350EM, and was registered on May 24.
Previously, the same handset was also certified with FCC and its Russian-state equivalent EEC (see photos below).
According to reports, the LG V35 is equipped with a premium specification that is comparable to the G7 ThinQ. It is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, which is one step higher than the LG V30S ThinQ . The number of pixels in the rear camera was further advanced with a 16 megapixel, f/1.6 dual camera in the rear, a front camera with 8MP, f/1.9 lens, as well as 6GB / 128GB base configuration and 3,300mAh battery inside. It will also feature a 6.0″ Quad HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1440 x 2880, probably the one you can see on the photo.
It also supports ‘AI Focus’ camera function and ‘out focus’ shooting, which was first applied to G7 ThinQ. There are three types of biometrics: voice, face, and fingerprint recognition. There’s also LG’s Hi-Fi Quad DAC built-in, as well as V-series smartphone inherited characteristics. The price is expected to be somewhat lower than the G7 ThinQ (~898,700 KRW / ~PhP43,6k).
While we are not sure if this is actually the V35 or just the V30 being used in the photo, seeing it on the WPC page is pushing our claims stronger than before. If this is actually the V35, we might see a flagship-caliber smartphone again without the notch, the last one was the Galaxy S9 and the recently-unveiled HTC U12.
